Job Description: Registered Nurse

Position Summary

  • Reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
  •  Provide wellness screenings and vaccinations at work-site clinics; including community centers and senior centers.
  • Performs nursing care for patients in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Provides care consistent with all relevant professional standards; state and federal requirements.
  • Independent Contractor Position; Non Exempt Status.
  • OSHA category 1.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
  • Knowledge and ability with the necessary judgment and skills to perform all nursing procedures as outlined in the scope of practice in the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Drivers license and the use of an insured auto for transportation.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Absence of a criminal background.

Clinical Services

  • Performs assigned nursing procedures, including the administration of medication in accordance with physician orders and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluates, implements, and documents the nursing care of the assigned patient population.
  • Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
  • Provides patient education.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Accurately documents all clinical data.

Professionalism

  • Is professional in appearance, language, and all interactions.
  • Works well in a team environment.

Other

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Lead RN and/or the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Communicates potential risk management issues per policy.
  • Submits all documentation timely.

Job Description: Lead Registered Nurse

  • Provides care consistent with all relevant professional standards; state and federal requirements.

  • Oversight of work-site clinical teams; problem solves and directs daily work at clinic sites.
  • Additional responsibilities of clinic prep-time; including picking up and dropping off of all medical supplies/equipment, medical paperwork, and vaccines.
  • Performs assigned nursing procedures, including the administration of medication in accordance with physician orders and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluates, implements, and documents the nursing care for the assigned patient population.
  • Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
  • Provides patient education.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA guidelines.
