Job Description: Registered Nurse
Position Summary
- Reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
- Provide wellness screenings and vaccinations at work-site clinics; including community centers and senior centers.
- Performs nursing care for patients in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Provides care consistent with all relevant professional standards; state and federal requirements.
- Independent Contractor Position; Non Exempt Status.
- OSHA category 1.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
- Knowledge and ability with the necessary judgment and skills to perform all nursing procedures as outlined in the scope of practice in the Nurse Practice Act.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Drivers license and the use of an insured auto for transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
- Absence of a criminal background.
Clinical Services
- Performs assigned nursing procedures, including the administration of medication in accordance with physician orders and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluates, implements, and documents the nursing care of the assigned patient population.
- Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Provides patient education.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA guidelines.
- Accurately documents all clinical data.
Professionalism
- Is professional in appearance, language, and all interactions.
- Works well in a team environment.
Other
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Lead RN and/or the Director of Clinical Services.
- Communicates potential risk management issues per policy.
- Submits all documentation timely.

Clinical Services
- Oversight of work-site clinical teams; problem solves and directs daily work at clinic sites.
- Additional responsibilities of clinic prep-time; including picking up and dropping off of all medical supplies/equipment, medical paperwork, and vaccines.
- Performs assigned nursing procedures, including the administration of medication in accordance with physician orders and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluates, implements, and documents the nursing care for the assigned patient population.
- Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Provides patient education.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA guidelines.
